Hi, We're WQ
We talk about what makes something special. What asks for your money versus what earns it.
In a world where the line between genuine interaction and product sales has become blurred, it's more important than ever to know what you're getting.

At WQ we hold our hands up and admit we're not the experts, so we seek out and speak to those people who have dedicated their lives in perfecting their craft.

By learning from those that have an innate understanding of their speciality, we know we're learning from the best and not an influencer who sees you as just another follower to be leveraged.
Why we're here...
A platform dedicated to separating the wheat from the chaff, helping you to find worthwhile products and speaking directly to the masters of their craft.
"This is a quality item, thank you to the company who sent me a sample... I've shared the link below". A sentence we are all too familiar with in the modern consumer world. At WQ, we believe that if you want to learn what makes something great, listen to the masters.

Henry Poole started the first suit tailors boutique on Saville Row in 1846. The people in that store have been making suits with a combined experience of almost 200 years. We would suggest they know a thing or two about a needle and thread!
Takamura Terakazu, a steel kitchen knife maker in Japan has been making knives for almost 40 years by hand. He can tell the difference between treatment time for a piece of metal simply by holding it in his hand. The fukui prefecture has been associated with the hammer forging of knives for over 700 years. There's a man who can tell you the about the right tool for slicing tomatoes.

This is our response to the consumer culture which has permeated society, where a poor quality product can be sold purely off social media popularity or algorithm manipulation.

Let's learn together about what makes a great product, and make sure our money is going into things that will last a lifetime.

We also appreciate the importance of sustainability and protecting our environment, so we will certainly try to find products that can be from recycled materials and would also encourage second hand purchases. Ethical supply chains will be a focus on any products that are discussed on WQ.
